6.Looped end mops

Made up of looped yarn, and these are designed to have free loop ends. Due to specific material, they can be used repeatedly and can last longer than other mops. Their open end loops help in better cleaning. These are typically not machine washable as they are made of polyester or a mixture of cotton with polyester fiber.

7.Microfiber mops

These are considered to be one of the best in their category. With polyester and polyamide used as material for manufacturing their heads, they have a higher tendency to hold larger quantities of water for a more extended time, which makes their wetness long-lasting for single cleaning activity.

These can be washed more than 600 times without any damage done to their shape or characteristics. These are eco-friendly as they require fewer chemicals.

As per industry standards, manufacturers should categorize mops concerning the sensitivity of the areas. Manufacturers mention standard color-coding systems on mops. The yellow color code is for much cleaner areas such as gymnasiums, mirrors, labs, etc. The blue color code is for all-purpose cleaning. And if you see the green color code, its for kitchen or areas with food.
